Collection: Zimbabwe Civil Documents
Civil Records and Official Certificates Issued in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe civil records and official certificates are issued by the appropriate government authorities in accordance with national registration laws and administrative procedures. These documents are commonly required for immigration applications, citizenship matters, estate administration, marriage abroad, employment verification, and other legal or administrative purposes.
Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, and Certificates of No Impediment are issued by the Registrar General’s Office of Zimbabwe. Police clearance certificates are issued by the Zimbabwe Republic Police. Where documents are intended for use outside Zimbabwe, authentication or legalization may be completed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (MFAIT) and, where required, the relevant foreign embassy.
Individuals requesting Zimbabwe-issued documents may need to follow specific application procedures, provide supporting identification, and comply with authentication requirements depending on the destination country and intended use.
